Beginning today all company-owned Starbucks have two iTunes promotions available. The first is the free "Song Of The Day" in which you receive a card with a code for a specific free song by a featured artist. Some Bob Dylan song is the first to be offered (Oct 2) but others include tracks by Paul McCartney, Dave Matthews, Annie Lennox, Joss Stone, Keith Urban and Brandi Carlisle. The cards are free (no purchase necessary) but are NOT available at Starbucks outlets like Barnes & Noble, Target, airports, etc. to the best of my knowledge.
The second promotion is to buy the special "Coffee and Music" Starbucks gift card and register it online and you receive a code good for two free iTunes downloads of your choice. ALL the promotions are good while supplies last and the free downloads must be redeemed by Dec 31st '07.
