I’m looking for speaker stands for my Ascends. Any suggestions? Are there stands out there that utilize the mount screws in the back of the Ascends?

Re: Ascend CBM-170 Speaker Stands
Here, I’m looking at these: http://tinyurl.com/2r6u3tI’m concerned that the top plate is only 5 x 5 inches and the Ascends are much larger than that. Is that something that I should be concerned about?

Those stands should work fine. If the rubber feet aren't enough to make you feel safe, you can get a small sheet of foam/rubber to cover the whole thing. I've used that spongy cabinet liner stuff to keep my bookshelf speakers (similar in size but much heavier than 170s) on stands with a similar sized platform.
