He understood the hint, but he was so focused on the baby revelation that he purposefully redirected her advance. Basically, Jan has him pussywhipped again.

Well, the episode made clear that he wasn't inspired until his meeting with Michael. Every milestone in their relationship has happened at the Office, so he thought the proposal had to as well.

Best ending ever. I haven't been the biggest fan of the Dwight/Angela will-they-won't-they storyline and subsequent Dwight/Angela/Andy triangle. But having Mrs. Vance, Vance Refridgeration (hehe) walk in on them in the actual act was priceless. Pricelesse because it's Dwight and Angela -- the two least kinky people in the entire office.
