i'm wondering if the show will create any obstacles for Jim & Pam now that they're finally together, unlike most sitcom pairings they don't have quirks or obvious personality disorders that will make for comic tension.

One of the things I love about the Jim & Pam relationship is that it's so normal. With many series they would have milked it for all it's worth. I also really like the fact their relationship hasn't changed all that much. They act like the best friends they were before but they're sleeping together now.

He understood the hint, but he was so focused on the baby revelation that he purposefully redirected her advance. Basically, Jan has him pussywhipped again.

Of course, I never would have proposed in a setting like that in the first place, especially when the group is my office co-workers. Hell, when I proposed to my wife, we were away in Vermont and I even insisted that she waited until the next day before she called anyone.
Well, the episode made clear that he wasn't inspired until his meeting with Michael. Every milestone in their relationship has happened at the Office, so he thought the proposal had to as well.

Best ending ever. I haven't been the biggest fan of the Dwight/Angela will-they-won't-they storyline and subsequent Dwight/Angela/Andy triangle. But having Mrs. Vance, Vance Refridgeration (hehe) walk in on them in the actual act was priceless. Pricelesse because it's Dwight and Angela -- the two least kinky people in the entire office.
