Re: House season 4 thread
Alright, the bitch is back!

I didn't think it was possible for 13 to get any hotter, but somehow Foreman made her so with one little word. Her scenes with Cameron and Cuddy are going to be much more fun to watch from now on.

"You're sleeping with
me!"
(This really cracked me up because once in college one of my best friends - who had just gone through a bad break-up as had I - said to me, "You know both our lives would be a lot simpler if one of us had managed to be female.")
Yeah, the Mia Sorvino physical was remarkably sexy, given what can and can't be shown on network TV. Of course, the suggestion of nudity, or even no nudity at all can be much more erotic than wall-to-wall nudity. Compare the film
Palmetto which features Elizabeth Shue, Gina Gershon and Chloe Sevigny, with
Showgirls, which features Gina Gershon, Elizabeth Berkley and a host of hot Vegas dancers. I don't think there is a single frame of nudity in
Palmetto, but it is fiercely erotic (I think all of Elizabeth Shue's wardrobe is a size too small throughout.)
Showgirls makes all that naked flesh boring. (If you want to see Elizabeth Berkley
really throwing off some erotic sparks, you need to watch her interrogation scene in the
CSI episode "Lady Heather's Box". It is a safe-for-TV
homage to Sharon Stone's famous scene from
Basic Instinct and arguably sexier than the original.)
I thought leaving the white socks on actually added to that and then it turned out to be a plot point. (There is often something sexier about a woman wearing a
little clothing rather than being totally nude. Cf. Randy Newman, "You Can Leave Your Hat On."

Check the listings for USA network and Universal HD (if you get it.) I just noticed that Universal HD is re-airing
House episodes - "It's a Wonderful Life" airs later this week. Don't know if USA also has these "encore" episodes. Or you can download episodes from Amazon Unbox, which is what I did with "Wonderful Life" a couple of days before seeing that listing, having flat-out forgotten to record it. It costs about two bucks.
