The last of my August 2 order (Troy) is being delivered today. Got Smallville early last week I think. Nip/Tuck they had sent me the beginning of October.

They sent me an extra one that came yesterday, must have shipped it just after Smallville finally came in, since those two were on another August order. Good news is I don't seem to have been charged for it.

If only I had more Blu friends to give or sell it to.

Off topic: I really would like to know who is in charge of WHV's Customer Service department. I cancelled my Harry Potter Blu-ray set a month ago, got an email confirmation with a reference number and yet today, there was yet again an authorization for $88 from Warner Home Video for the Harry Potter set.

Unbelievable. I thought they had removed their customer service head from the sand and sorted out their problems. Apparently not.

Well, I cancelled an order from 2mos previous and they still sent me doubles and things without billing me. Fine with me, I'll just sell them on eBay.

I'm still waiting from my 8/6 order three releases which are 2001, Clockwork Orange and Blade Runner.

Now I'm still waiting for the Ocean's set to ship. That was a September 21 order. Haven't gotten any notice of any kind. Usually they let me know when there's a delay.

Guess they haven't gotten things sorted out afterall.

Got a response from CS that the "Best of Blu-Ray: Action" set that I ordered on 10/31 is backordered for another 1-2 weeks. We'll see.

I cancelled my order from early August when it appeared that Warner were favouring recent orders as regards shipping. The bulk of my replacement order was out the door in a day or two, excepting a preorder for Blade Runner, and Full Metal Jacket & 2001.

2001 followed a few weeks later. I am still waiting on Full Metal Jacket. The funny thing is that different people are waiting for different Kubricks - its not like no-one received 2001, for example. Some people did, some didn't.

Perhaps I'm a glutton for punishment, but I placed a preorder with them the other day for Pan's Labyrinth on HD DVD, and Shoot Em Up on blu. Let's see how preorders turn out now they're supposedly back in business.

They seem to be back on track. Early this month, I ordered the Kubrick HD DVDs (except Eyes Wide Shut) and the Ocean's Trilogy HD DVD set. I've received all the Kubricks and am just waiting for Ocean's. I've been pleased with their service.

I received the BRD of Blade Runner yesterday so now I'm just waiting on 2001 and Clockwork Orange BRDs from that original order. There seems to be no logic to why some titles ship and others stay missing in action.

I received a Christmas Eve surprise today from Warner. I got 2001 Space Odyssey on HD-DVD today, but the only problem was I cancelled the order 2 months ago. It even was listed as cancelled on the web site. I also have since ordered and received it from a different store, and changed to the Blu-ray version. Now I'm wondering if I should expect orders for the Blade Runner briefcase and That's Entertainment showing up next which were cancelled.

Just received THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT this morning from UPS--Cancelled the order two weeks ago --Even so, a great Christmas Gift. BB wants 99.99 for this on their web site. Could not find it at Amoeba yesterday.

I got home today to find Superman Doomsday on my porch. Part of the order I cancelled back in September. I haven't checked my bank account to see if I've been charged for it yet. This is f'ing ridiculous.

I received a cancelled order as well. According to Warner, I can just write "Refused: Return to Sender" on the package (it's unopened) and call UPS to come pick it up.

According to posts at DVDTalk, Warner usually charges your card a week or two after sending "cancelled" orders. Just because you haven't been charged yet doesn't mean you won't be. Probably best to return to Warner, to be safe.

I'm still waiting for my Ocean's Trilogy box set that I pre-ordered. I e-mailed the other day asking about it and got a response today saying my item is backordered and they expect it to ship in 3-4 weeks.

Today, I finally received the last of my BRD order from WHV. Luckily, I had the patience not to cancel these discs due to people receiving orders they cancelled long ago.

I just recieved 4 boxes from UPS from what appears to be Warner (WHV Returns).
This would be the order that I placed in August, called in October twice to cancel (and was assured each time that it was cancelled).

Unbelievable.

I don't even have a clue which CC I used to order these with or I would call and dispute the charge right now.

Just one more reason to be disenchanted with Warner today.

Ironically, after tax and shipping the prices here ended up being a negliable improvment over Amazons with the extra 10% off...and in the last month most of them were offered in BOGOs, making the sale price here much more expensive.
