As a UCLA Bruin alum, I should like the colors...but they hurt my eyes

EDIT--If I may make a suggestion, if the blue/yellow motif is to remain, perhaps Parker and Ron could experiment with some slightly lighter shades of yellow? (like FFFF99)

Personally, I love the new look! It may not be more easy to navigate, but it's a lot more fun to look at and a lot easier on the eyes for reading and perusing all the posts!

Actually, I love these colors as well. It is rather easy on
the eyes as far as readability goes.

For use as a normal everyday color scheme, however, I
don't think it's a good idea.

I'm actually in New York City this morning getting ready to
check out the action at Bryant Park, Times Square and The
Empire State Building where Fox is going to be holding events
all day in honor of The Simpsons Movie.

Thanks for the tips on the skins. Perhaps this info should be edited into the announcement.

I realize that advertising pays the bills, but why do this for The Simpsons Movie of all films you could have chosen? Surely, there are new releases that are more dear to this community's heart.

Seriously, this yellow and blue is really bugging me. Yeah, we all know The Simpsons is coming out today, but the color scheme's gotta go.

And not for nothing, but Blade Runner's a more IMPORTANT film than The Simpsons.

As a USC alum, this color scheme is a problem. plus it's tiring on the eyes to read for any long time.

oh so it's for a simpsons advert? well I suppose that's okay, the 7/11 thing was cool, now HTF gets the same treatment.

ha ha, you guys are funny. It's garish but readible. As long as the HTF are filling the coffers to keep the site online, they can colour it however they want.

Or Indianna Jones/THe Mummy 3. A nice desert scheme of taupe and brown.

You guys should run a HTF make over contest! Then we can get our wifes/girlfriends involved in our hobby! XD

Oh, of course, and as long as I can change it it's fine as it's annoying to try to read. I'm just not sure how I'm supposed to "appreciate what they're trying to do". Is it a service to visitors helping to raise Simpsons awareness, or is it an ad?

This new temporary color is very annoying. I can't read a single thread. It will have a negative effect on the forum. It doesn't attract which is the primary reason for any pub. It just says to me run, run away!
