Let's hope they get it right this time.

I don't know if any of you remember the fiasco that happened when this series was released a few years ago, but man was it a disaster. So many promises and so many people let down.

From the fact that the Shout Factory is doing it, Claire is involved in the extras, I think it is pretty safe to say they are getting it right.

That last set was a nightmare, in every way. From the ordering, the delivery, the transfers, the (lack of) extras. Just seeing the set brings up bad memories. And it is one of my favorite shows.

I already have the set (purchased at Best Buy for $20), but I have some friends who NEVER received their set or lunchbox or added promo items.

I would be very interested in seeing the extras on this new set...might have to netflix it!

Wow, where is all the talk of this set?

And is there a date set for a mass burning of the previous release?

Congratulations Shout! Factory, you have done it again! Another great release. Especially love the packaging (in a SNL like box).

Amen, I like the packaging as well...I'll donate my copy of the previous set, even though I have yet to ever watch a single episode of the show. Maybe it's better that way.

My set just arrived today. I have yet to start watching it, but I can't wait to get into it. I love the packaging. Shout Factory did such an amazing job with Freaks and Geeks, I've had high hopes for this set. The extras listed look great. I'm especially looking forward to the commentary with Wilson Cruz.

My sister owns the original release, and over the years I've been borrowing hers. I'm excited to own my own new shiny set.
