Paging capabilities over speakers?

Hello all, first post.

In simple terms, I would just like to know if there's a simple way to get paging over my speakers via phone. I've looked this up, but all I have found requires an expensive phone system, which I don't have nor need.

If you could help me out, that'd be great.

I assume you’re talking about your stereo or home theater speakers. I doubt you’ll find anything cheaper than this. It’ll require some custom wiring, though: A high-powered 8-ohm resistor across the speaker output (so the amp thinks it’s doing something), with an RCA cable connected parallel via hardwired to it. Turn the volume down low enough and it’ll be okay for your receiver’s input.

A word of caution: Do not drop the microphone. It’ll probably blow out your speakers.
