I've determined that due to arrangements in my home theater space, the widest (physically) set I can use is 44.5 inches and that's pushing it. I was in BB today looking at a few models and found I liked the Samsun LNT4661F. There was also a 46665F, but it was hard to see a difference, though I know it has a better contrast ratio and a glossy screen.
The 46665F is eliminated because it is 46" wide and the 4661F is 43 5/8 inches wide and will fit.
I am seeing HDMI handshaking issues on the cnet forums in regards to Samsung TVs but it's possible that this set is new enough to have solved those problems. Does anyone have any comments to make on Samsung customer service?
On Amazon I see many good comments on this TV and there it can be had for $1955 with free shipping and no sales tax. BB is selling it for $2374.
I'd sure appreciate any comments on this set and on Samsung's customer service.
BTW, has anyone run across a good TV stand supplier? This set will not be wall mounted.
