I have a Pioneer VSX 52-TX. Got it back in Nov05 and just now getting to using it..lol...I know, its crazy...

My room is about 16'x19' with the ceilings around 11' high, and the floor is concrete with pad and carpet...

I really am very new to this receiver, and even with the manual its really unclear to me if I have things done "ok"

I have 7.1 hooked up and placed accordingly......Is there any certain setting that might be better than another? I dont have "true THX" but still sounds awesome.....

Do I just go by my ear and assume things are ok?...I dont have the mic anymore as I acidentially threw it away..."DANG".....
