There's an awesome ongoing deal at Amazon that gets you 8 Blu-ray movies free (3 from their catalog and 5 via mail-in rebate.) when you buy a PS3. I missed out on the last promo they did with the PS3 (free remote and resident evil apocalypse) so I pulled the trigger on this right away.
However, here's where it gets crazy and I wouldn't have figured out what happened if not for this forum... Apparently, unbeknownest to me at the time, they were also running a 2+1 deal on BD and HDDVD's at the time so when I checked out my PS3, I HAD AN ADDITIONAL $23 DOCKED FROM MY TOTAL!!!
Yup... PS3 plus 8 BDs... 2+1 discount on the BD's I didn't pay for...free shipping...no tax...less than retail cost... LOL!
