I'm really surprised that it won't include a TrueHD track. I might have misunderstood Mr. Grafeo but at EMA, I thought he mentioned that all future Universal day and date releases would have advanced audio codecs.
I see Evan Almighty does but this doesn't even though it was a much larger BO success.
Either way, I'm buying it as I love Judd Apatow's work.

I'm pumped for this one. I like this box art and the tagline.

Though not an excuse or anything, but I can handle a lesser sound codec on a comedy because sick sounds isn't as important to me for a film like this as an action movie, or any other "loud" movie.

But I might just be barbarian.

Definitly in my top slot for review!

Yep, I'm all over this one. VERY clever and funny. Should be a terrific HD DVD.

Is there a reason why only the extended cut is in HD? I vastly preferred to the theatrical cut of '40 Year Old Virgin' and would at least like the option of watching "Knocked Up" in this form as well in HD, rather than just SD.

According to DVD Active, the extended cut of Knocked Up is only 4 minutes longer. Granted, you may not like any of those 4 minutes but it shouldn't really effect the pace too much either.

As luck would have it I took this morning off from work after a 16 hour day yesterday. Fedex dropped off my Knocked up review copy, and having nothing else pressing I spent two hours engrossed in this film. Havent gone through the extras yet but I loved the film itself, Apatow and Rogen continue to deliver the goods for sure. Sound was EXTREMELY front focussed, I never noted any action in the rears and the bass only kicked in during a few hip hop songs. Picture quality was fairly good but nothing special. Still fairly favorable for a dramatic comedy! The extras should prove pretty compelling but will take me a bit to go through em all.

Sam> have you seen the theatrical cut of Knocked Up? If so how do they compare?

Looks like my copy shipped today...hope to have it by early next week!

Nope, first time with this film.

To the OP: Trust me, TruehD would not have made ANY difference here.

25th? I bought and watched this yesterday!
To my surprise the movie was a lot cleaner and politically correct than what I thought.
