"This August, Barnes & Noble is offering a special dog-days-of-summer deal for Criterion lovers as a way to stave off blockbuster fatigue: 30% off all Criterion Collection releases. The sale runs through the end of the month, both in DVD-carrying Barnes & Noble stores and online, where you can find the broadest selection."

Unless you are a member, that costs to join, the price for Young Mr. Lincoln is still cheper at DeepDiscount. I would like to see B & N have another buy one-get one free sale for TV series sets, like they had about a year ago.

For those who are members, B&N just sent out an e-mail with a 15% off coupon code (X9Y3W9Y) that expires August 19th. The code is good for one item per order.

Perfect for some of those more expensive Criterions. What to choose, what to choose...

There is a new B&N coupon code (D9U3D3W) that takes $10 off an order of $40 or more if you use PayPal to pay for it. With the Criterion sale about to end, you should be able to get some great deals.

I should add that the code "expires at 2:59 a.m. Eastern Time on September 6, 2007." But the Criterion sale ends TONIGHT!
