The Two Corey's on A&E - Page 2

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

I also read that they're not friends anymore so I doubt there will be a 2nd season. Unless this whole thing is a big publicity stunt to get people to tune in for the 2nd season.

Regarding "The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe", it looks like everyone will be back except Corey Haim, which is a real shame. It would've been nice to see everyone back.

That sounds so crazy, because Haim was the one who really was dying to be in a sequel to that movie. Boggles my mind, it does.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

Yup, that caught me by surprise as well. It took me a while to figure out that this wasn't a reality show. It was scripted and the Coreys were acting. So the episode where Feldman tells Haim that Warner Bros. was doing the movie without the 2 of them and Haim broke down, wasn't really what was happening.

In reality, the studio planned to have everyone come back for the sequel but I read somehwere that Haim was having problems with Immigration to travel in and out of the U.S. Shortly after that, Feldman announced that Haim had made the decision not to be in the movie. I don't know if Haim's decision was made because of the immigration issue or because of something else but it seems he's out of the movie either way.

Well, guess the show was greenlighted for a second season - starts tonight at ten.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

Hi Gang,

I have not seen this show, but I know of some actors in my community that have been involved in it. Apparently, there was a concert put on by one of the two and there was a scene showing a line of people paying to get in to see it. Turns out, that was not quite the truth. Agents had been called to request to send some of their actors/extras down to the theatre to go watch the show for free, just to have some people there. They were admitted for free, of course.

Kinda funny.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

I saw the commercial for this the other night.
Train wreck.
I guess Haim is into Drugs again and Feldman stages an intervention?
So much Drama.

Everyone is just the Frog Brothers and haim now in a few bit scenes. None of the Other original Lost Boys vets are in it.

And I actually watched the first 2 eps. this season and if it indeed is as staged and scripted as is rumored, then these guys (especially haim) ought to be working ALOT more IMHO as the "acting" was VERY convincing. Haim really appears to be right on the edge.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

I actually like the way they are filming this new season. It's sort of got a gritty documentary style to it and I think it makes it less cheesy than the way they did season 1.

I will say that I don't think this one is scripted, like most reality shows. These two seem balls out real and if they are indeed acting I give them props. Some of the scenes with Haim are just heart wrenching. I feel so bad for him and how his life has turned out. As for Feldman, I don't think Haim is right in saying that he doesn't have his s#@t together. I think Feldman is very grounded for a celebrity that has been through it all. I think he really has turned his life around and is working to make his life worth something.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

Watching Haim self destruct like this is becoming more and more difficult. Based on last nights episode, I highly doubt this series (or atleast the new season) is scripted. It was really gut wrenching to see Haim just blow this movie shoot.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

I'm enjoying this series.
The first couple eps of season 2 don't feel scripted. Season 1 did..big time, but this season feels different.
There is some very dark subject matter that writers wouldn't think to touch with a ten foot pole.
EDIT: I hate the yellow filter they use for the show. Drives me nuts, but aside from that, very intriguing series.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

Are there going to be any further episodes? I read somehwere that Haim is having a hard time with how the seires is portraying him and is feeling as though he got the short end of the stick.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

After reading the People article, I really don't expect a new season of this show. The whole thing seems exploitive to me, and I really don't see why they ever did it at all. Were they desperate? Corey Haim looks that way, but Corey Feldman seems more stable (to me anyway). Child stars almost always end up like Haim. My mom used to think he was adorable years ago, but not now.

If he really feels like that, he has only himself to blame. He acted like a jerk, like someone in his 20's as opposed to someone who is supposed to know better in his 30's...He hasn't matured, not an inch, and he needs a boot up his ass real quick.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

My feelings on Sundays episode are this:

Feldman handled that really badly. He made the suggestion for an "intervention", but was turned down by Haim only to agree to a dinner between the two Corey's and Susie. So why did Feldman go ahead an stage and intervention anyway? Bad move.

Haim had every right to be pissed. I would have been.

Then to show up at his house and scream at him to go ahead and take another pill and go kill yourself? WTF? How ridiculously mean. Susie screaming at Haim to go F himself and to call his mother.... wow.... that was just in bad taste. If your trying to help someone you do not go about it that way.

Feldman should have just left his wife at home. She seems to always cause more issues between the two.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

Wow, I don't know if this show is still supposed to be scripted or not but if it is, those 2 deserve an Oscar for Sunday's episode. That fight/argument looked so real.

An intervention from Pauly Shore and Todd Bridges??? WTF, lol. Although Todd Bridges did impress me, I must say. He seems like a pretty sharp guy. I don't know why he hasn't been getting more work in front of the camera.

So is this show for real or what? I don't know what to believe now. I'm hearing that Feldman is really fed up with Haim and wants nothing to do with him. I also read that there will be no season 3. But they said the same thing when season 1 ended and we still got a season 2.

I hope we get more of this show. It's a guilty pleasure of mine and I enjoy seeing these 2 guys a lot but I don't know what to believe now.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

Feldman probably is fed up with Haim. You have to remeber one thing though..it's a good paycheck for both of them. There most likely will be a 3rd season.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

Not to mention that they're both apparently going to "star" in LOST BOYS 3.

I just find it funny that none of these "drug" issues were brought up in the first season. The first season was played for laughs ala THE ODD COUPLE but now this season is all dark like that other show on A&E. I think the biggest problem is that S1 didn't show any of the drug issues that are in S2. However, S2 also doesn't share anything that was featured in S1. In S1 Haim was a slob and he obviously isn't in any of S2 as his house is always spotless.

One of the seasons were scripted but I'm not sure which one. I do think their acting is very good however.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

I definitely think the first season was scripted, because as you said, none of these drug issues were brought to light in the first season. This second season seems to have gone the route of the tv show Intervention and while I find it interesting, the relationship between the two Corey's, I also find it terribly sad that Corey Haim is battling with addiction on national television.

Last nights episode was really hard to watch, especially the parts with his mother. He really has no clue as to how bad he is even though people all around him continue to tell him so. I sense a bad ending to this show.

Re: The Two Corey's on A&E

Man, Haim is in such a denial. I'm glad that his assistant had the guts to be honest and tell him to his face that he has a problem. The frustrating part is that Haim doesn't want to admit it.

If his mother can't get him to see the truth, I don't know who can.
