Not sure if there are any other Zepplin fans in the HD area but good news if you are one like me.

It's Warner so the question is.........will it contain lossless audio?!!!

Warner Home Video has announced it will bring the Led Zeppelin concert film classic 'The Song Remains the Same' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this November.
Featuring fourteen classic cuts, 'The Song Remains the Same' is culled from Led Zeppelin's legendary 1973 appearances at Madison Square Garden. Interspersed throughout the concert footage are behind-the-scenes moments with the band. Warner will debut the high-def versions on November 13, day-and-date with new standard-def DVD and CD re-issues.

Supplemental features will boast over 40 minutes of additional material, including never-released performance footage of "Over The Hills And Far Away" and "Celebration Day," plus the bonus cuts "Misty Mountain Hop" and "The Ocean." Other extras include a rare 1976 BBC interview with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, vintage TV footage and a radio show excerpt with Cameron Crowe.
Warner has not yet released tech specs for the high-def versions of 'The Song Remains the Same,' but we can only hope for high-resolution audio. We'll keep you posted.
Warner has set a suggested $28.99 list price for the Blu-ray and HD DVD.

The Man Room stated this would not have lossless audio, which would take completely off my radar if that was the case.

Count me in even if no lossless. This would be way cool.

LZ was a little bit b4 my time in that my older brothers loved em and I thought my brothers were retards. I was too young and stupid as a yound lad to appreciate these albums my brothers would play and just stare into space. (I think there were other things in play too ).

No denying some of the best rock ever made was from Zepplin.

If Zepplin was before your time Tim, it was way before mine. I'm 34 by the way. Anyway, I'm not big on music on home video even if it is a favorite band like Led Zepplin. That said, I would be enticed if it were lossless, but if it isn't my relative disinterest for home video music makes it easy for me to try and "make a statement" about doing these releases right. Hell, Warner is already chincing out on The Wild Bunch in terms of audio. Enough is enough.
