Here's my nomination for the best. It's part of a series where scholars are asked to deliver a theoretical "last lecture" and think carefully about what they would say. The catch with this video is that Randy Pausch is actually dying from inoperable pancreatic cancer. So this is truly his last lecture.

It runs for an hour and sixteen minutes. And it's worth every minute.

I heard much of this lecture on CSPAN radio one night driving home from band practice. I see he has qualified for SIR-Spheres. My cousin Kimberly Troisi Paton had that treatment when she was at about the same stage that Randy Pausch is at, though Kim had exactly what the SIR-Spheres are designed for, colorectal cancer which has spread to an as yet unradiated liver. I don't think it was very effective, it's about the absolute last ditch hope that someone in their predicament can have. Reading his story on his web site is hauntingly like Kimberly's story. The ending isn't happy.

I'm too much of a newbie to be able to post URL's...but search at Youtube for "Monkey Balls". It's a little perverted, but in a silly harmless way. I swear if I'm ever in a bad mood that can make me smile instantly!

I'm ashamed to say I already saw the Monkey Balls video and also found it very funny.

All right! My SECOND favourite YouTube video would have to be...

(drumroll please)

My own! Which I've just completed two days ago! It's split up into three parts.







Yeah, I know. It's a shameless plug for my upcoming TV station. But it's the very first full length TV show I've ever made! And despite the minor mistakes and production weaknesses, all the elements are there. So if anyone asks if it's possible to produce a professional looking TV show using nothing but consumer equipment, the answer is a definite yes!

One question. The movie soundtrack on the second video. From what movie is it from? I remember the music, but I can't remember the movie.
