Then the team owes me big time 'cause I still wanna gouge my eyes out, bleach my brain or both.

I wish I could go back to the time before I saw that video, and taken the Blue Pill instead. Heck, I would pull a Cypher and sell out right now if I could.

Francois, I didn't get far enough to see anything like that, and will not. I do know what you mean though.

I don't mind looking at a train wreck as much as the next guy...but there is a sense of urgency in the tone of Holadem's posts that is making me stay away. As curious as I am...I am waiting.

Mike, I'm not sure, but I checked the description and it seems it's a video of girls eating excrement. That's all I really need to know. I'm surprised something like that is allowed to stay on YT.

Read the Wiki article. Am amazed that I somehow missed all references to that viral video since it appeared last October...until now, that is!

I think I'll pass. Although, the "train wreck' aspect of this is still calling out to me. But, nah...I'll let it go.

Greg, the video itself is not on youtube. From Wiki:

Part of what has facilitated 2 Girls 1 Cup's spread are the reactions it causes. Hundreds of videos exist on YouTube of users showing the original video to their friends and taping their reactions. Joe Rogan, host of NBC's Fear Factor, a show notorious for the disgusting things its contestants eat, had to turn away in a reaction video posted to his blog.


The video I posted is one such reaction. There are hundreds of those, and I have to say they are hilarious. What Adam posted is a parody of a reaction video. Hope this makes sense.

We've all heard of stuff like this before. And I have seen videos of sick shit like this before out of morbid curiosity. I think it's the editing that makes this one stand out (at least from what little I saw.) The first disturbing shot is so totally unexpected and so shockingly gross I turned it off immediately and struggled to avoid gagging for several minutes (you can see this in the reaction videos: people are watching for a few seconds, and then it hits all of a sudden.)

But the stuff on youtube is pure gold

Garret, youtube is blocked where I am right now, so I can't verify this, but if those clips are what I think they are, there should be a NSFW warning: There is some strong language and some pretty suggestive action (though nothing overtly graphic since it's on youtube after all).

Well then I guess I could double dog dare you to do a Google search for "BME Pain Olympics" (youtube requires you to register to see it).

Certainly not work safe (or home safe) or for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.

From what I understand you don't want to take this dare.

I have not seen 2G1C but I think the reactions are hilarious. Some people aren't very offended.

I've already seen the video (ugh!), and I think I know why this particular "shock" video is so disturbing to so many people.

It's the music!

The music is a total opposite to the nature of the content! It gives you the feeling you're about to watch something wholesome and pure -- right until the piano hits that high note and the video's true nature is revealed.

That's also probably why the reaction videos are so popular. The high note is your cue as to the exact moment when the victim's expression is flipped completely upside-down.

Yes, the original video is utterly repulsive. But the reaction shots are in a way a fascinating study in human behaviour. A true example of psychological deception producing hilarious results.

Now where's my maple ice cream?

The nice music does create a grostesque contrast with the footage. But the video doesn't start that innocently either: it's two girls in an R-rated situation.

But yeah, there is no transition from R, to... something that is out of bounds in the US. (link is safe.)

What cracks me up in the reaction shots is that some people start pre-emptively cringing and exagerating their reactions to the two girls, thinking perhaps that this is the shocking part (which is silly because that's R-rated material), until their innocence gets shattered in one fell swoop.

Well, I will say this: It bothered me a hell of a lot more than the guy being... used to death by the horse.

I still have flashbacks to the way the peanutbutter colored logs came out of the one girl into the cup — the image I can't out of my head is a soft-serve chocolate ice cream machine. The fecal matter spiraled up the cup just like an ice cream dish.
