You tube pet peeve: "fan-made music videos". You look up a the title of a show or a movie hoping to revisit some favorite moments, and most of the stuff is fan-made "music videos", i.e., some badly edited sequence set to some unbelievably lame pop song. Really annoying.
Anyone experiencing dramatic slow downs lately? I find that download speed has been much slower than playback in the last week or so, leading to frequent pauses. I often have to wait for a good chunk of the clip to download before I start playing it.

Stranger yet, the slow down seems much more common on Firefox than on IE6.
But for mere mortals, the GIGN (a more exclusive/elite SWAT equivalent) did exceedingly well. The handful of passengers who died during this ordeal were executed during negotiations.
No passenger was seriously hurt during the 20 min assault proper. A few of GIGN were more seriously hurt, but none died. None of the dynamite these guys placed around the cabin exploded. All 4 hijackers were killed. A remarkable achievement.
I've always thought the co-pilot jumping out of the window was funny
