A big "thank you" to dts

Thread Starter
I know that we have a thread that talks about "best exhibitors".
I just wanted to start a new one to see if any of us has some information on the people at dts, so we can send them a personal "thank you" E-mail from all of us.

We all agree that they were by far the nicest and most helpful people of all of the vendors at the show. They were very sincere and eager to talk to us and show us as much as we wanted. I think myself alone I spend about 45 minutes at the dts suite.

So could someone please take point on this and thank them from all of us?

Thanks.

Re: A big "thank you" to dts

Indeed. I spent over 30 minutes in there, close to the end of the day Thursday when many others were packing up or had already packed up. I even left with a piece of pizza.

Has anyone else come home and been humbled by the still-impressive-but-comparatively-not-as-jaw-dropping experience of listening to BT's "BT-1.1618" on the sampler in "core" DTS and remembering how much more impressive it was in DTS-HD MA 7.1 in their demo room?

They had pizza in their room? Dangit! (I showed up late on Wednesday at the dts suite)

Paul from DTS was lingering (and was thanked) in this thread:

Re: A big "thank you" to dts

Has anyone tried out their DTS-HD MA demo disc? That thing rocks. The "Listen Up" music demo was my fave.
I tried both PCM and Bitstream from my player...my A/V receiver (connected via HDMI) played the PCM just fine. Sounded real good. When I switched over to Bitstream, my receiver displayed "dts matrix" and it sounded a bit more robust. LFE was definitely more noticeable.
I'm not exactly sure what difference I'm getting with each but I liked them both. Nice disc.
