Hi guys, not sure this is the correct forum for this post but I felt that it was worth a shot.
I have a Phillips dvd player with SACD capability. Recently I have noticed a strange quirk that never used to happen - when playing sacds the player stops after every track (STOP appears in the digital display) there is an audible click from the amp and then playback resumes.
While this is tolerable with some SACDs it is unbearable with ones that are crossfaded (Dark Side of the Moon is a prime example) as it completely disrupts the listening experience.
I'm hoping my player isn't about to die. Its an all in one wireless surround system which keeps my wife happy but SACD capable ones are hard to come by in the UK and I'm not enough of a gear head to want to get into seperates etc - I like to keep it simple.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
