New WEEZER album in the works for 2008!!

While I wasn't too crazy about their last album, Make Believe, it did contain some greatness: Perfect Situation, This Is Such A Pity, and Freak Me Out, but it did have way too many duds (My Best Friend is lyrically weak).

I've loved all other earlier albums, however, and hope for the best with this new one.

cool to hear. Love Weezer. Make Believe was pretty firgettable, but their other stuff is all gold.

I cant say I'm overly excited as I think the Blue album will never be outdone by them. That is definitely my favorite Weezer album by FAR. But I am curious as to how (if) they try something new. Latest efforts seem a bit poppy to me.
