While it had up and down moments, there were some moments in The Carol Burnett Show, especially those with Korman & Conway that were RIOTOUS.

I give up!  I can't do 5!!
I tried!

My list is changing....

1. Seinfeld: This will always and forever be my favorite show.

2. The Big Bang Theory: A very close second to Seinfeld.

3. Freaks and Geeks:  Just so cleverly written.

4. Survivor: The one game show on tv that I just love to watch.

5. Hoarders/Intervention: This reality show is like watching a car crash in slo mo. I don't know what it is about looking in on other peoples lives that I find so interesting, but I love these two shows.

Jericho
Terminator Chronicles
Sons of Anarchy
Dollhouse
The Wire
The Shield
24
The 4400
BSG (new)
The Sopranos

that's more than 5, but whose counting?

Difficult for me to pick just 5 but lets see.

1.  Dexter
2.  Lost
3.  24 (minus S6)
4.  Sports Night
5.  Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

Honorable mentions to Fawlty Towers, Firefly, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Arrested Development, Day Break, and a ton of others I could spend all day listing.

Then there's shows that had good runs but I can't include them in my favorite because they got horrible after a while.  Prison Break after S1, Family Guy after the 4th or 5th season, etc etc.

1.  Mythbusters - you can watch any episode in any order and enjoy the hell out of it.

2.  Top Gear - I'm sorry, but even non-gear heads can appreciate the absolute fun that Top Gear is.  The best hosting crew on any show, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May - watching this show is like comfort food.

3.  Mystery Science Theater 3000.  If you ever need to kill an evening and laugh your ass off, few things are as good as Mystery Science Theater.

4.  The Wire.  Best written series I've ever sat through.

5.  Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Shoot me!  I love the damn show.

Honorable mentions:  The Shield, Sopranos, Cosby Show, Boston Legal, Firefly, Dexter  (not in any order, none of these are)

A few that aren't full shows but are on my list:  Sealab 2021; Aqua Teen Hunger Force

1a. Seinfeld - Simply one of the best, if not the best show on TV.
1b. The Munsters - Still watch it on DVD and TV.
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Never missed it, the wife and I would cancel all functions to watch this.
3. X-Files - Originally our reason for staying home on Fridays and the one reason we watched FOX at the time.
4. The Sopranos - The only reason I had HBO
5. Dr. Who - Thanks to Tennant  I feel in love with the show again and the wife is now a fan.

Honorable Mention...
King if the Hill - I never realized how funny this show was until Adult swim replayed them. I love this show.
Futurama -  See King of the Hill.
Andy Griffith - Barney never lets me down.
Life on Mars - Both the UK and USA versions

Closely catching up if they continue to be good...

Being Human - Love the drama and the story lines.
Robot Chicken - So many skits, they keep me laughing. Real World Metropolis, Law and Order (chicken Style) and last nights Dark Cristal. Just to name a few.
Torchwood-
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I love the way the keep killing off regular cast member. It keeps me guessing

M*A*S*H  -- it's really hard to say how many times I saw most of these shows.   By the late  70/early 80 I could literally watch 25+ episodes a week between multiple stations in syndication, and first run shows.  There were weeks where watching 20 wasn't unusual trying to think of other reasons not to study.

Cheers

Star Trek in all iterations as a group

House

BSG

I might include Dexter eventually but only 3 years so far, but I;m not sure which show to bump.

Honorable Mentions:
Babylon 5
Twilight Zone (old and new combined)
Outer Limits
Brady Bunch
Gilligans Island
St Elsewhere
Highlander

Carson might rank up there except I don't really consider it a show so much as a lifestyle.

Star Trek
(own S1 & S3 box, rest in 2-eps DVD)
Monty Python's Flying Circus (box set, owned)
Mystery Science Theater 3000 (various official, non-official and personally taped versions, looking to get all eventually in the best condition possible)
Red Dwarf (8 season/series of 2-DVD sets)
Twilight Zone (most on VHS, very few on DVD, will be buying the whole set very soon)

Trek optimism and realistic look at a possible future (plus some really cool monsters and strange looking planets) has always been close to my heart

Monty Python is comedy from a group of guys who must've slid out of their mum's performing a comedy routine that made the doctors and nurses go hysterical.

MST3K is so good it made the unwatchable not only watchable, but watchable over and over and over again.

Red Dwarf is almost Star Trek meets MST3K meets Monty Python. Hee!

Twilight Zone. Same here with the skewed look at the world....blew my mind and continues to do so. Its influence is all over the place.

Wow. This guy knows his stuff.  Just add DOCTOR WHO to the list and we could be clones.  Plus, I happen to own the complete classic Twilight Zone on DVD.

3. The X-Files
4. Columbo
