s/pdif out using turtle beach usb adapter

Greetings All
I'm wanting to buy one of those turtle beach usb based s/pdif output devices. This particular model I want is call Turtle Beach audio advantage micro.

Will I be able to take the s/dif out on with this device and use my DAT recorders D/A converters to listen? That's really all I want it for.

According to the description it supposedly will do that but I was hoping someone here might be able help with this info.

Thanks

Dunno, but I have a Turtle Beach sound card (Catalina) with SPDIF input and output, and I have no difficulty listening to audio from the computer via my receiver. I'd be shocked if it didn't work.
