Legend?

Is it true that Ridley Scott's LEGEND is coming to HD-DVD?
For all its faults, this remains one of my favourite movies as the visual style is sensational (and Tim Curry's performance!)
HD would be a great format for a visual film like this. If its true, wonder what version it'll be.

I believe Universal have announced Legend as a September release, but there's no official date set yet.

I should think it'll be the 2 Disc DVD set released a few years back. Not sure how they'll handle the different versions (plus extras) that were on that set though.

Maybe a 2 disc HD-DVD release? One with the Director's cut/Jerry Goldsmith score, and one with the shorter edit with Tangerine Dream soundtrack (plus extras). I hope they retain both versions, as although the longer version is arguably superior, I still have a soft spot for the Tangerine Dream version.
