Greetings guys!

Sorry, have to brag! Mini-Mack (aka Katherine...) was born Saturday nite!
She was 7ibs. 15oz and 21 inches long. Looks like her ma but got my giant feet.
A new Jedi, Slayer in training...

Wonderful news!
She looks beautiful. How about a few more pictures of that pretty face, and maybe none of you?
Probably she won't be any trouble at all, for the next 12 years or so.

My little girl graduates college this weekend, Dave....and then gets married next weekend!

Enjoy that little girl every moment you can before she walks out that door and breaks your heart!

But, you mean I have to actually let her DATE boys one day...?!?!?

You'll only be trying to hold back the inevitable. Kinda like the fight against aging.

I just watched the Spencer Tracy/Elizabeth Taylor version of Father of the Bride the other day. Really good film. Catches so many of the nuances of the situation...

I suppose you'll have to be dusting off Parenthood...or 3 Men and a Baby.

Guys!

I SWEAR that today Katie went "ACK! ACK!" like the Martians in "Mars Attacks!"





It's been a WILD and fun (and tiring!) 16 days but she's doing great and has actually gained a pound and a 1/2 since we left the hospital!!!

Well, been a wild 5 weeks!
She's growing like a weed too. 12 lbs. already! :0

Anyways I did a new song for my CD about her, called "KM Radio"
Kind of a lullaby gone punk. The idea is that if you wake her in the nite then you're stuck listening to KM Radio for the rest of it. Anyone who's been in the same boat can identify, I think.
Katie has a cameo (her first backup vocal gig!) at the end of the break and she's right in key!

Ditto for me...except I took a look/listen this afternoon. Listened to KM Radio...and remember those days well. My son especially had this thing for ear infections. He knew how to let us know he was around night and day!

Thanks guys, for the kind words, they really mean alot as I pretty much do all of it myself except for backup vocals and it's hard to be objective sometimes. And thanks very much for the Katie compliments.
She is beautiful but an absolute handful! She is already 12 lbs after 5 weeks, is in the 95th percentile for height (length...?) and they think she could very easily wind up at 5'10...! ACK!
I had finished recording all my songs for my CD that I've worked on for the past year and was 1/2 way through mastering when she came early. So I put it on hold, took a few weeks off and just this week recorded the new song for her after many 1/2 sleepless nights. It's kinda goofy but I like it, (she hits her note dead on (and it was one take and she's in key! I simply hit record at the end of the break, walked over to her when she was crying with the microphone and she nailed it...!)
and I figure it will make a fun "bonus track" on the CD.

Once again, thanks guys. It is truly very much appreciated!

And if you feel inclined, check out my sister's music page. I am playing the instruments for her. She's got a pretty amazing voice.

Good luck, you will be surprised how fast she turns into a toddler. Mine is already 21 months. Another baby is due in December...fasten your seatbelts, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
