This seems to be the only "pop music" I like really... I don't know why though, my usual play list is just rock.

I thought it was perfectly clear. His future is coming on. It's called Clint Eastwood because calling it Lawrence Fishburne would just be ridiculous wouldn't it.

Might be meaningless. Years ago (1985 I think) Nik Kershaw released a single called "The Riddle", which he said in all interviews really had an answer, and there were clues on the artwork of the single etc. Yet recently (around 2002) he admitted that the lyrics were really just placeholders as he tried to write something meaningful for the tune he'd written, and as production deadlines loomed he couldn't think of anything so recorded the meaningless lyrics anyway, then a mystique crept into it all which he played along with, until now.

So similarly those lyrics might not actually be written with anything in mind.

Well, not all lyrics are literal, so I'd say a lot of the time, they're open to interpretation. Hence sites like these that attempt to gather people's ideas about them:

Again, unless someone's heard/seen the artist explain the lyrics or the story behind them, they're open to whatever the listener hears in them.

I always thought it sounded like he was high after smoking some of his "sunshine in a bag" and was just rambling.
