Good Aquarium Screen Saver?

I have seen these new PC's at the stores that are displaying these beautiful aquarium screen savers and would like to purchase on for my PC, so I headed down to Best Buy and the guy walked me over and handed me this:
http://www.allume.com/mac/aquazone/
I bought it and installed it on my Wifes lap top and it does not even look half as good as the other screen savers I have seen. It states it's real to life looking, maybe for Disney!
Where can I get the real beautiful aquarium screen saver i have seen on PC's?

Re: Good Aquarium Screen Saver?

Take a look at www.prolific.com.
They have some that you can download to look at before you buy.

Re: Good Aquarium Screen Saver?

Try http://www.serenescreen.com - that's the prettiest Aquarium screensaver I've ever seen and I think it's available for the Mac too.

Re: Good Aquarium Screen Saver?

I have the one from serenescreen.com. It's not half bad. The bubble clock add on looks like a trip. But mom and dad got the one from prolific.com with their new PC. I like it much better.

Well, the "Marine Aquarium" screen saver they list goes to the serenescreen.com website. Unless you have one of the other two they list, maybe you just need to update yours?

Yeah, they have fish I've never seen on mine. When I was a kid I had one of those with the big eyes. I called it Popeye. They have that one but I don't. I'll look into that...thanks. I'd like the bubble clock too.

"Screen saver....or Discovery Channel?" Nice sale pitch. I like the idea of the fish behaving as real. Swimming in schools and stuff. But the fish have a cookie cutter feel. Bunch of clones.

I have used the screensaver from Serene Screen, and it is
absolutely beautiful!

Re: Good Aquarium Screen Saver?

AquaReal 2 isn't half bad either. However, the SereneScreen one does work with multiple screens, I can have it spread out to all three of mine. Unfortunately, all three screens are mirrored and show the same fish doing the same things in triplicate rather than it being one big stretch "tank" full of fish... that would have been massively cool. Ah well, maybe eventually.

Re: Good Aquarium Screen Saver?

I've had the SereneScreen Aquarium on all of my computers (Mac and PC) for MANY years now and I have NEVER gotten bored of them.

I used to go through screen savers like MAD! They got so boring after a few days, but I never get bored of the aquarium.

In fact, when I get the aquarium going on my Mac (23" HD screen), people just sit there and stare at it in amazement.

Re: Good Aquarium Screen Saver?

Thanks for all the replies! I downloaded the Marine Aquarium 2.6 Demo from http://www.serenescreen.com . It's pretty cool but has locked my PC up twice today, I set it up as the desktop and the screen saver. Is that why it's locking up? How long will this demo work for, is it a timed demo?
