Reading bassackwards

Is there something I've missed or have I done something wrong? When I log onto the site (which I do rarely) the posts in the thread now display with the most recent first, which I find totally disorienting and unwelcome. Have I pushed the wrong thingy in the options section of my user-control panel or has something been done globally that I am not aware of to make these posts display this way?

Whichever, please let me know. I want it back the default way (from earliest to most recent).

And, while we're at it, why is it that I can't get my posts to display in Times New Roman even though I have that set as default (hopefully correctly), unless I specially mark each one?

Mine hasn't changed, so it must just be your settings. Check here:

User Control Panel
--Edit Options
----Thread Display Options
------Thread Display Mode: set to "Linear-Oldest First"

Not sure about the font thing, but it's probably in the same area.

Okay, I did this and it worked this time. I had called myself following that same procedure before and it didn't.

As far as the font is concerned, nope. I have the correct font name entered in the proper place, but I still have to tag each message with the tag of the font I want or the text just shows up in the default fontface. Go figure.
