i just came across aperion audio's aperion university. it was referred to on stereophile mag's website. i've had a quick look and it really is a nice overview on many subjects discussed here in the speaker/sub land. it is a great reference for newbies in particular, especially in the sound technology and power to the buyer sections. another nice thing about the "university" is that aside from some illustrations featuring their own products, aperion does not use it as any kind of sales pitch. there are also some quality links at the ends of the "classes" for further reading.
another resource i've enjoyed is from psb's website. their audio topics section has articles that cover some of the basics of speakers and sound reproduction as well as some more advanced topics. there are both general pieces as well as psb line specific articles.
anyway, i hope you enjoy the links. let me know what you think and please list any other sites you feel are valuable resources for this kind of info.
