Annoying song; the "singer" croaks like a frog, and I don't mean Michigan J. This must be why Justin Timberlake feels he needs to bring sexy back. This song made sexy go away to begin with.

The song that made me a lifelong boy-band hater. In public I ask them to change the radio station if anything they play.

The original by Little Eva is a classic of early 1960s Brill Building pop. Most later attempts to cover 1950s and 1960s pop/rock songs have been disastrous.

I hate these lists too, first because there's usually a few songs I like in them, second because they all list the same songs, third because they tend to be overpopulated by craggy Baby Boomers who were apparently never happy for one single day in the 1970s, and fourth because they can get mean-spirited and even violent at times.

But I'm more worried about Disco's bastard stepchild, that synth-techno-dance crap. I also wish punk rock had never been invented.

Yeah, this is really not such an interesting topic.

There is an easy way to handle this - don't read the thread.

My submission - "Push The Little Daisies" By Ween

Maybe I'm still curious as to the point.

If you think that's whining, then you seriously underestimate my ability to irritate!

I am learning all sorts of annoying things from my toddler. I suppose I probably knew all this stuff before, but forgot it over time.

Re: Least favorite Songs

Your cracking me up! That is pretty true, I see behaviors in my kids (from when they were toddlers to now 13 and 10) that I start to yell at them for and then I stop and start thinking, "hey, that's just their DNA talking"!

Re: Least favorite Songs

and to get the thread back on track, I also submit "Seasons In The Sun" by Terry Jacks. I am provding too much information in how old I am just by acknowledging that little piece of sonic excrement.

bobbyg2 is thinking right now "I have never heard any of these songs before..."

Re: Least favorite Songs

Actually, the kids today know that track (or at least two lines of it) from those "Time-Life Hits of the '70s" ads on TV.

Re: Least favorite Songs

This is easy! LAST KISS by J. Frank Wilson. I get nauseated by it. Somebody did a cover of it for a movie soundtrack a few years ago and it was just as illin'. I'd rather be locked in a room and forced to listen to Tiny Tim for a week than ever hear Last Kiss even one more time.

Another least favorite:
What ever was the name of that piece of crap that Robin Thicke sang on American Idol tonight....yack!

Re: Least favorite Songs

Ugh, I'd rather listen to every bad song listed in this thread (10 times over) than to watch a second of American Idol. That's definitely my least favortie music related thing.
