I began shopping a few weeks ago for my setup and ended up with the following:

Samsung LN-S4150D 40" LCD
Onkyo HT-S790 Home Theater surround sound system
Onkyo DV DV-SP404 Upconvert DVD player

I picked up both of the Onkyo products from Circuit City about a week and a half ago, the surround sound system for $330, the DVD player for $140 and I got the TV from Amazon.com for $1229 shipped. CC had the same TV for $1599 or $1499. The TV arrived today and I must say, Eagle Global Logistics is an awesome freight company. The TV arrived and the box looked like it was fresh from the manufacturing plant, the TV was flawless.

It took me quite some time to run everything and get it all setup but now i'm sitting here watching The Italian Job in 720p and Dolby Digital surround sound and it's all good!!

I'm working on it. I'm having a hard time figuring out what kind of theme I want for the bookcases/shelves on either side of my entertainment center but as soon as I figure it out and get it dialed in, I'll post up some pics.

Whoa, forgot about this thread

I just took the pics, haha. I'm about to upgrade my HT again....I just bought a 55" Vizio XF551VXT and a Vizio VBR-110 from WalMart.com, having them shipped to my local store so they should be ready on or around 3.10.10. I already upgraded my main speakers from the one's that came in the system in my sig to Insignia NS-B2111...made a noticeable difference, the Onkyo's were just too subdued, too quiet, too lifeless. I'm not too terribly thrilled with the rest of the system either, i've got to have the sub maxed out both on it's own volume control but also on the receivers level control in order to get any decent bass output. And the rest of the satellites are equally lifeless as the mains were. Not sure what other speakers I'll be going with just yet but i've got my eye on the Sony STR-DN1000 receiver and think it'll be the first piece I replace.

I'll bring home my card reader tomorrow so I can upload those pics.....I'll also post pics of the new setup once I get it and promise it won't take 3yrs.
