Sony TV-on-DVD box sets/Buy 1, Get 1 free at Pathmark

For those in the Middle Atlantic states, the Pathmark supermarket chain has a good deal on selected season 1 sets from Sony. Buy 1 set at $19.99, get the second set free. There were about a dozen titles in the mix; here are those that I can remember:

S.W.A.T.
Married with Children
Ellen DeGeneres Show
All in the Family
Soap
Barney Miller
The Jeffersons
Good Times
What’s Happening
Sanford and Son
Mad About You

I saw the display yesterday while I was at my local Pathamark but it didn't mention anything about them being BOGO free. The display only mentioned something along the lines of "$19.99 each, limited to Sony titles featured in this display". If it had been clearly indicated that they were BOGO, I'd have picked-up the first seasons of Sanford & Son, The Jeffersons, Good Times and Soap. I might have to go back.

It's definitely a 2 for 1 deal, at least through Thursday of this week. I picked up Sanford & Son and S.W.A.T. for $19.99 plus tax. You will need to use your Pathmark Advantage card to take advantage of the deal. Sign up at the customer service desk if you son't have one; they're free. You can also check out the Pathmark circular at Pathmark's web site (though they incorrectly list the sets as coming from MGM).
