Re: Adam 12/Dragnet 68

Jack Webb produced shows are among my “most wanted” and I’m pleased that “Emergency!” has made it to season 3 so far. But both Dragnet ’67 and season 1 of Adam-12 were plagued with quality control issues that may have hurt sales on these titles and, consequently, Universal may have concerns about further season releases. The good news is that Universal seems to have corrected some of the QC issues (I had no problems with “freezing” on season 2 of Emergency! and season 3 of Emergency! is single-sided . . . no problems to date). Perhaps, they’ll rethink these two titles. Also, it’s always possible that Universal might license both of these shows to an independent, especially now that they have licensed both “McHale’s Navy” and “Ironside” to Shout! Factory. Incidentally, I’d also love to see an official release (non-public domain) of the original black & white version of Dragnet.

Bob, I'm with you. I want Adam-12 S2 bad. Who knows about Universal's release timetables? The TV/DVD business is about as unpredictable as DVD-18's

Ditto on that, Nick. I'd bet that goes for a lot of us here. One thing about collecting TV/DVD's....it ain't boring (waiting for, trying to outguess release schedules).

Yup that is so true, looks like you're in for a long wait if you want shows like me, e.g McCloud, McMillan and wife... I dont think they'll be released which really is a huge shame. Although it really is great when you read it on tvshowsondvd that something you've been waiting for has come out.. I love that
