We have settled into our 4th home and I have almost completed my HT again. This is the best one yet IMHO. It's in the basement and I have total light control. The finished side of the basement is one big room split up into quadrants. HT, Office, Pool, Music. The HT area is about 12'x12'.

Current Features:
TV - Samsung HL-S5687W
Receiver - Denon 3802
Front Speakers - Pinnacle PN6+
Rear Speakers - Pinnacle AC 500
Center Channel - Pinnacle AC Widesceen Center (hidden inside closed cabinet below TV)
Sub - SVS 20-39 PCi
BluRay Player - PS3
HD-DVD Player - Xbox 360 Add-on
Power Conditioner - Monster HTS 2500

Coming Soon:
Denon 2808 (September?)
Wire Management (suggestions welcome!)
Ambient lighting solution (suggestions also welcome!)

Here's a few before and after pics of the basement:

Looks really nice down there. Makes me jealous. No basements in Florida.

Oh man, I lived in FL for a couple years. I was in Bradenton. I had no man space there. We lived in a single story with no basement. I feel for ya.

Convert the garage!

I was thinking of moving to Bradenton; I have family there. But no basements?? How am I supposed to fulfill my life-long obsession with building a HT?

Nice work.
