Not sure I can name a song, but there's a movie many of us enjoyed her in....Tremors (1990).

I just want to know why Greg had to peg me as one of the "old guys" in this thread!!!

And I'm not too familiar with "country" Reba...but I don't know whereas "Broadway" Reba is guilty of "runs" in her singing style.

BTW, I totally agree that Aguilera has always had her act together...both personally (as much as I can know about that) and professionally (aside from trying to stretch a three-syllable-word into a 24-syllable-word)!

Ridiculous, indeed.

And, I think that's a definite case of profiling, my boy! While I admit that keeping up with new music is something that is fast slipping away from me, I would think that most musically-inclined people would recognize that "new style" of singing for what it is...a lame distraction. Which is too bad since I know Christina has a very pretty voice and probably Mariah does, too. But, unfortunately, I can't listen long enough to really know.

No need to feel like you should be in the closet about Amy Grant, David. She's terrific and getting better all the time! Her music has been maturing over the years. Count me as a huge fan of her later stuff. Legacy and Rock of Ages are both well-done. And her new DVD/CD Time Again is a lot of fun. I've been hooked since the single Stay for Awhile.

Funny when Christina came on the scene I remember people saying she was a Britney ripoff and such. But for the past few years now Christina is looked at a something of a real artist while Britney is a joke

But that kind of sentiment is fleeting...and fickle.

Remember all the way back to that two or three day period several weeks ago just after Britney had dumped K-Fed? She was sporting a new "sassy" shorter hair cut and wearing these classy outfits (the classic "little black dress", etc.). There was the self-deprecating Letterman appearance. Everyone was convinced she had cut the cancer and was on her way back. Shortest lived comeback ever!

They werent tats it was a start drawn in marker. They were photos taken during the shooting of a music video. They are at thesuperficial.com.
