Advise needed for small space 5.1 setup!!! **PICS inside

Hello guys!!!

First, I have a reciever/amp by Marantz which I bought about 4 years ago for around $2000US. ( I don't have the model # with me here ) I remember it has DTS. As you all can see my studio is very small. I am thinking of getting bose acoustimass 10 series 4. My friend said bose sucks! Also I'm quite afarid with all these wirings. I will need to drill holes through closets, etc. Shoudl I go wireless? I want good sound quality but I don't want to hurt my wallet! I am thinking to mount the rear speakers on the roof to save space. Why I think of bose? because I think their size is more suitable for my space.

I agree with your friend! Bose is WAY overpriced, for what you get! The quality just isn't there. They have excellent marketing though. Bose will definitely hurt your wallet.

A much better option than Bose, are these Orb speakers: http://www.orbaudio.com/
Looking around real good, you should be able to find other options, that are very good, for the same money, or even cheaper. Maybe other members will chime in with some good options. Please don't let Bose marketing brainwash you too!

As far as wiring.........you can usually hide the wiring behind the baseboard, toe moulding, or crown moulding. There is also some plastic channels you can mount to baseboards, meant especially to hide the wires.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
