Viewsonic Cine1000

I just won this projector. It is a good entry level unit, that I have read very good things about. I'll be using it for movies and don't plan on using it for high def tv.
I would like to get a DVD player for it, but don't know if I should get a progressive player or opt for an upconverting one. (The Cine1000 has a dvi input).
I would appreciate opinions on which to buy. I would like to get something reasonably priced that will be a good match.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Viewsonic Cine1000

Is that a 480p or 720p projector? If it's 480p, I wouldn't waste the money on an upconverting player. The projector will scale it down to 480p anyway.

Thanks Jim, it's a 480p. I thought all I needed was a progressive unit, but wasn't sure if upconverting would make any difference to the image or not.
Appreciate your help.
