WALL-E (Pixar 2008) - Page 4

Re: WALL-E (Pixar 2008)

They are creaming themselves over at AICN - calling it the best picture ever released by Disney. I'm taking those comments with a mountain of salt but one cannot help but be a wee bit excited.

Strengthens my belief that Wall-E will be the number one movie of the year.

Re: WALL-E (Pixar 2008)

I almost didn't want to read the AICN comments because I don't want to get my hopes up, as ultimately I end up disappointed. It took me a 2nd viewing of Ratatoullie to realize how fantastic and funny it actually was. I'm really looking forward to it though, and my hopes were already pretty high.

I know what you mean about not wanting to get your hopes up too high. Often I feel when there's a lot of great buzz surrounding a movie that by the time I see it, I'm just expecting way too much. For some reason, however, I'm pretty sure that Wall-E is going to deliver. Pixar seldom disappoints and the images I've seen so far have really blown me away ... the story is almost secondary at this point!

WallE and Hulk on the same day for me. Sat June28, the day after I get back from a trip.

Looking foward to both but especially Wall E

More positive - scratch that - glowing reviews from Ain't it Cool:

I swear, I don't think I've ever seen so much favorable buzz from this site...

I don't know what it is...But, everytime I heard Wall-E's voice or that of the robot being trapped outside the airlock. I just crack up.

Oh, jeez, I can't even write corrections, correctly. It should read "Brain to fingers..."

Took my wife to see Kung Fu Panda in Imax yesterday. I asked an attendant if Wall-E would be in Imax. She said the next Imax move is the upcoming Batman movie.
