Chat room question

EDIT: maybe 3rd time is a charm. I tried a third time and it worked. I'm not sure what changed, but the problem is resolved.

Is this because the chat room is "off" currently or do I need to change a setting or turn off Internet Security? As I said, every other chat has worked flawlessly.

Instead of going thru the links use the direct url to the chat and see if that helps at http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/javachat.php

It may be an issue with your Norton Security I am not sure though.

The other thing is to download mIRC at http://www.mirc.com. The url to the irc is irc.shadowfire.org and the chat channel is #htf. The javascript version on the webside is not always that reliable in connecting to the chat.
