XM 2 Go

My girlfriend purchased a Delphi XM 2 Go and really enjoys the favorite artist feature. The unit beeps when a song by the favorite artist plays on another channel. When she was using the unit as a walkman she did not hear any audible beep in the headset. Is there a setting to get the beep audible through the headset?

This is the MyFi right? There is no way to have the alert come through the headphones. It is a pain with no real workaround.
