I'll even draft it for you:
You can save an additional $10 on 24: Season 6 at any B&M if you purchased the 24: Season 6 Premiere DVD back in January. Open up your DVD case and check for that $10 off coupon!

Thanks for the help, Jeff! I just showed up here to post similar info. I, too, picked it up at Target for $9.99. (I guess we're both suckers! )

I just posted about this in a thread over in "Software/TV" where there was some concern that the $10 would only come off the regular price. I disagreed. I don't see anything in the wording that would prevent you from re-couping the $10 off whatever is the best sale price you can find on release week. Here's the full text of the coupon...since I already typed it for that other post:

Quote:
Limit one coupon per customer. Not good in combination with any other coupon or offer. Offer good in USA and Canada only. Void where prohibited, taxed, or otherwise restricted. Not valid on prior purchases. Valid on in-stock items only; no rainchecks. No dealers. Coupon must be presented at time of purchase. No photocopies allowed. Cash value 1/100 of one cent. Coupon valid until 2-29-2008.

It'll be interesting to see if I do remember to to mention the coupon in the appropriate Round-Up! Bet I will! Because there'll be no way I'm not getting my $10 back!!!

Re: Weekly RoundUp 1-16-2007

My educated guess (that's 18+ years of working at Target) is that a retailer might refuse the coupon, but it's pretty much at their discretion. Places like Wal-Mart and Target, that scan all the merchandise and coupons (basically without ever really looking at what you purchase) will most likely take them with no problem. I've never used a manufacturer's coupon at Best Buy/Circuit City so I am not sure how their system works.
