Does anyone know what episode Granny goes to a department store and discovers a TROLL DOLL? A picture of Granny holdng the TROLL DOLL is in the fine book on the Beverly Hillbillies by Stephen Cox.

Could you be more specific on what you're asking? Because it seems to me you already know that episode.

Re: BEVERLY HILLBILLIES QUESTION?

Seems to me he's saying there was a picture of granny with a troll doll, but it didn't identify what episode it came from. I'd like to know myself, because I can just imagine how hilarious that would be.

Re: BEVERLY HILLBILLIES QUESTION?

It could be an episode called "The Christmas Present" first aired in 1966. The Clampetts get jobs in a department store during the Christmas season.

I don't remember every episode but this one sounds like a possibility.

Re: BEVERLY HILLBILLIES QUESTION?

Isn't there also a chance this is simply a PR still and not from any specific episode? Also, if it IS that 1966 episode, why do you think you'll never see it? What's to stop Paramount from releasing the non-public domain episodes in the future?

with no future release rumors. and, if it does come out, by the time they get to the 1966 season it'll be years down the road.

Re: BEVERLY HILLBILLIES QUESTION?

Did the picture look like it came from the show or did it look like a "posed" PR picture like Andy suggested?
