I have heard a rumor that the ces people have clamped down on sales of lp's and all other forms of media this year. Company's like acoustic sound, chesky, cisco and music direct may not be abel to sell there product as they have in past years. Has anyone heard if this is true? If so I am major bummed out!

"Company's like acoustic sound, chesky, cisco and music direct may not be abel to sell there product as they have in past years."I doubt it...I think they are changing the sales process as a recent Stereophile article noted. That would stink if true as a major benefit to shows is buying good software on the cheap at the shows.

Since there has been a venue change at CES this year, the new venue is not allowing the sales of the materials 'on site' due to the difficulties in them showing that sales tax has been collected/paid.http://www.stereophile.com/news/100206ces/
