harmon kardon 645 issue

Hello everyone, hoping someone might shed some light on my issue...

I just completed purchasing and hooking my first home theater up this past weekend. I picked up a Harman Kardon AVR 645 receiver, Oppo 981 DVD player, and JVC 56FN97 TV... Hooking everything up has run into some slight issues.

What I would like to focus on is video issues. I am running the HDMI inputs/output on the 645. When I use the HDMI output from the DVD player directly to the TV, the picture comes through fine at all resolutions offered by the Oppo (480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p). BUT... when I run the DVD player to the receiver and then to the TV, the picture only comes through fine at 480p to 1080i. When I switch to 1080p, the picture has lines running through it and some major pixelation issues.

Basically, has anyone used the HDMI switching on the Harmon Kardon 645? Have you tried it at 1080p?

The sound comes through fine at all resolutions using the HDMI ports, just the video has issues...

thanks.
