I don't think most people will even finish! I know I won't. A lot of people doing the challenge have close to 100 sets listed. But interesting question....what DOES happen if you finish early?

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

Why do people have to keep bumping this thread? Bump it if it gets to far behind or update your posts or something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

I update my post sometimes. Updating doesn't bump the thread though.

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

I was just thinking..... From CVhristmas Day to New Years Day there's only six days. I know that I'll get a bunch of TV on DVD for Christmas and I won't be able to watch them all in six days! Whatever I get for Christmas I won't add until the 2008 challenge. I'll end my challenge on New Years Eve, but I won't add my Christmas gifts.

I put in a placeholder at the beginning, but I'm so hopelessly behind...I'll never finish watching shows, since I keep adding so many to my collection. I'll make it a goal to finish ``The Dead Zone'' S5 this week ahead of the S6 premiere on Sunday.

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

Going into August, how is everybody doing? If you haven't updated recently try and get your list updated. I'm doing okay, but these Summer months have slowed me down a bit. Hopefully the fall/winter will be better.

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

I have done 11 series out of about 70. I have done better then last year but it is a challege. For me I doubt that fall will be better because am excited for the new tv season. With returning shows and new ones that interest me not sure how far I be able to get.

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

Wow. I cant believe the year is already drwaing to a close. How far have all of you got? Well, I'm sure as heck not done. I got about 94 sets so far and still watching. I dont think I'm going to be able to finish them all in one year. I'm thinking i'm going to make this a 2007-2008 challenge for me. I'll just keep watching and take down the date I finished... I started on December 25. Wow. Well how far has everyone gotten?

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

I have 19 of 88 sets done. I have bought a lot of sets though to add to the list for next year! Next year I will have over 100 sets to try and watch. I did better than I though I would this year though. My goal was 25 sets! I'm almost there!

Good Luck to everybody as the year comes to a close!

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

We're going to have to name the 2008 challenge WGA strike challange, as I'll be watching everything I have for next year, with no new tv to watch.

Nice to see that we still do this

That sounds good. The strike is actually a good thing because those of us with backlogs of TV DVD's can finally catch up!

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007

I have a question about the challenge.

Seeing as the old Doctor Who's are coming out in story format and not seasons, is it possible to include the stories on the list of shows to watch? Doctor Who is a television show....but does watching one story make it fair compared to watching 20+ episodes in a season for other shows?

Re: The HTF TV on DVD Challenge 2007
