I can't possibly recommend Majora's Mask enough. It was the unsung and unheralded semi-sequel to Ocarina of Time. In my opinion, this game is far superior to Ocarina in every way, and is in fact a very unique game story-wise. For those not familiar, or to re-spark the interest, It has nothing to do with Ocarina story-wise, but instead features a unique story of Link (young) traveling through a town when for some reason, the moon starts moving closer to the earth. You have 3 days to discover why the moon is doing this and stop it from smashing into the surface of the earth by collecting masks (also an off-shoot from Ocarina of Time). Obviously, you can't accomplish this in 3 actual days, so you use the ocarina to go back and forward in time, or slow and speed up time to accomplish your goal. This game is visually crowned by the menacing moon in the sky which if you look at it is continually getting closer and larger second by second within the game itself. When this game came out on the N64 originally, I pretty much disregarded it (like most people did), but thanks to the urging of a friend, I picked up a used copy and proceeded to play the ever-living shit out of it. To this day it remains one of the best games I have ever played. Hopefully some of you will do the same.
