What confirmation number? All they did was ask me my name, address, where I had bought the set and how many copies I got.

At first I applauded Warner for stepping up to the plate to deal with this issue as quickly and professionally as they did, but now I don't know.

I received The Christopher Reeve Superman Collection yesterday as a belated Christmas gift. So I placed a call tonight to the Hotline # posted on page 1, they took: my name, address, phone, said to look for the pre-paid mailers in 7-10 business days and finally gave me a confirmation #. I'll post when my mailers arrive and once the replacements discs are in my hands.

Still nothing here in Toronto, Canada, and I called on November 29 or thereabouts. I guess I'll be calling on Tuesday to see what's happening for Canadian customers.

Well, I called on Friday & got right through. They looked me up & told me my discs were shipped Thursday. Normally mail from California to here takes 3 days so they should arrive on Sunday. Oh yeah, no delivery Sunday. Well, they'll get here on Monday. Oops, New Years. No mail. Well, they'll get here for sure on Tuesday. WHAT, they announced this afternoon no mail on Tuesday to honor the late President Ford. OK, Wednesday seems like the day & it's not hurricane season so hopefully we'll have mail service (of course with all the mail from the extra long weekend the mail will probably arrive after supper)!!!

I'm in Tulsa, Oklahoma and called on December 10th. My return envelope came today. Kinda sucks since it means I can't send it back until Tuesday. I'm still laughing because they spelled my name "Bratt" instead of Brad. At least my address is correct.

I am planning on watching this box set starting with Disc 1 and ending with Disc 14. It's been hard to not watch it. I'm really excited to dive in.

I live in the U.S. and called a day or two after the phone number was given out and haven't heard back from them...no mailers or anything has shown up. Am I being ignored? Should I call again? Or should I give them a bit more time?

At this point, I don't see how it could hurt to call and verify your status. I would, however, wait until Tuesday, and then call during the day or early evening when their phone lines are most likely to be fully staffed so you can avoid a long wait on hold.

My two cents, anyway.

I just called the number and spoke with somebody who took my name and looked-up my file. She said that because I'm in Canada, my replacement (along with all other international customers) will be handled separately from the US replacements. I asked whether she had a timeline for me, and she said no, but she wouldn't expect it to be too long since the replacements are obviously ready to go.

Anyway, just thought I'd post the update for those who are in the same boat as me.

I myself am having a bad experience with the replacement disc issue...I was on the phone for nearly 27 minutes today, 15 of them just waiting for an operator, then when she finally did turn up, I had a chance to ask for the replacement discs, only to have me on hold yet again for another 12 minutes. After that, I just gave up (and I was on a cell phone to boot!). Anyone else having a bad experience?

I'm also playing the waiting game here in the Toronto area as well (no mailer so far). Thanks for the update regarding Canadian replacements, Adam. I guess I can wait a little longer now before calling Warner back.

Shame we have to wait longer just because of a border....

I live in Canada and I have not received my mailer as yet. I just called the 800 number in the US and spoke to a fellow named Byron who very politely informed me that the Canadians will need to be serviced thru WHV in Canada at a later time TBD. He also mentioned to me that the replacement discs they received had incorrect artwork on them and that they had to be repressed. Go figure. If any Canadians received mailers or replacements it would be good to know. I may just send by disc 1 to my brother in the US and have him facilitate the exchange.

Got my mailer today--I called in the 18th or so. Address and name correct.

However, I'm just going to go ahead and priority mail them back--$4.05 for faster turnaround seems fine to me.

Sweet! I got my DVDs today! For reference, I called on Dec. 8th, got my mailer on the 18th, sent them out on the 19th, and received them today, January 3rd. So about a month for the whole thing.

I've got a little question. The mailback envelope had the same return address as the destination address. Nowhere on it could I see my info. So I included a piece of paper inside with my name and address. However, there was a number on the envelope. Is this how they are keeping track of who the discs are from?

Yes. Everyone was assigned a number when we called in. When they fet the mailer back, they match up the number to the info we have and mail them back out.
