Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

Hmmm [suspicious] is this a trick shot Elizabeth? Is this a film within a film thing? A scene where someone's watching that on their screen right?

Fantastic shot, it was my signature for a while.

Damn it and I own Lock Stock too, my excuse I haven't watched it in some time.

I don't remember that. . .or I surely wouldn't have used it!

And I thought I was going to get another comment from you, Steve, about how many people on this board saw "Lock, Stock"!

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

Not many it seems, or like me can't remember it shot for shot.

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

Just checking in to see that y'all are still staring at the back of people's heads.

Although this one even I would have gotten right. I always pay attention to Steve's posts. The last screenshot, not a prayer and I've seen the movie a few times.

Hey, the previous one was a full frontal shot!

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

Nice sig shot Rich. Someone should start a caption game, the screenshot plus snippet of dialogue, or would that be too easy? I'm starting The Naked Screenshot after Elizabeth finishes her game, all nude shots, male and female from various films, you have to guess which actor and film the buttock or[STOP IT STEVE!]

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

That Lock, Stock... shot completely threw me!

This one looks like a big break, but I recall the last time this movie was in one of these contests, I accidentally entered the wrong movie title! Hopefully this doesnl't happen this time.

Oh, and congrats to whatsisname on winning...

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

I'm flabbergasted. Wow it's over so soon? And I was just getting into my stride.

Thanks Elizabeth for a most enjoyable game! Doubly rewarding for me because most of the films you've been posting shots from aren't exactly my cup of tea. I think only three of the films here I've watched more than once, so beating these guys in this game was a bit of a shocker. Cheers.

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

Excellent. I'm only the third biggest loser of the bunch.

Thanks Elizabeth.

FWIW, I was thinking of doing a screenshot contest myself. It's been a while, and I was noting a few to use. If I do it, I'll post a link here before I actually start it.

Anyone who is interested in participating in another contest, please let me know in this thread. If there isn't much interest, I just won't take the time.

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

Take the time John

Thanks for the great contest, Elizabeth...wish it would have ran longer!

I'm still thinking of doing one of these myself in the future, I think I've found a way around the inevitable "I've never even heard of that movie" complaining.

I'm up for challenges, I just hope I hear about them, since I use the User CP to keep track of this thread, haven't been to Polls main page in months.

I will be there for any screenshot contest! (Though you will see again that I'm not much good at the guessing side!) My brain just doesn't file those images away. . .!

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

What???? It's over??? Christou won???

I call shenagins on the whole thing!! That motorcyle diaries boat was from Monty Python and I'm sure I would of gotten the once upon a time in the west!!!!

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

I'm up for a new game. I used to love these things. They're a good deal of fun. I used to pay special attention to movies just for these games!

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

Fantastic job, Elizabeth.

I've got a contest of my own put together, ready to roll it out tomorrow morning.

I PM'd JohnRice because he expressed interest in running one too.

Does anyone have an issue with more than one running at once, or should we do the one-at-a-time thing?

And don't worry - I already know that I'm MUCH better at running these than I am at winning them.

Jon

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

Dang -- I was just hitting my stride getting the final two shots. I'm always up for a screenshot contest, though, one-at-a-time would be best, I think. I'll check tomorrow for Jon's contest! Thanks for putting this one on, Elizabeth!

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

great contest, even if I missed out on a few I knew, crazy busy time period dontcha know.

Re: Guess the Screenshot Challenge!

There was 21 screenshot from 21 film. I watched only 3 films. And I have 6 points. So... I can guess any screeshot from any of the films I saw. That means - COUNT ME IN.
