Hello guys I have a bit of a situation here and I would like to know the best way to wire everthing up. Ok first of all I would like to familiarize you all with my equipment setup. I have a 32"LCD with HD connected through a converter, and an Aiwa XH-A1000 home theatre stereo system. I have my other components such as VCR, DVD player, and video games hooked up as well. Now here is my problem that I need your help with atm. My Aiwa is about 2-3 years old but still in great shape, I do have a situation were the 2 subwoofer channels are reading out different ohms though. This is a 1000watt bi-amp stereo which provides 100 watts to the 5 full-range front, center, and surround speakers. It also has another 500w 2 channel amp designed for the two sub woofers. Ok as for the two factory subwoofer I don't use them I am using a single 800watt Pionier Premier car subwoofer. It is has Dual 4 ohm VC's so I can get 2 or 8 ohms from it, my stereo on the other hand does not support 2 ohm loads. One channel is 3.5 ohms on my multimeter, and the other channel is 7.8 ohms on the MM. I cannot connect these two channels together so I am useng either one 4 ohm channel or one 8 ohm channel.

Now what I want to know is what is the best way to set up the wireing on this sub? I talked to a guy at the stereo installer shop and he wasn't much help, atm I have the 4 ohm load from the stereo to an 8ohm on the sub. I was trying to get 4 ohms out of it but I can't seem to get it, not possible I think. Well fellas TY for your help and have a good one.
