Forum slow to load... - Page 2

Re: Forum slow to load...

It's still very slow to load pages for me. Been going on for about three days now. I know it's the forums, because these are the only forums it happens with. I use Firefox also.

Re: Forum slow to load...

As I said in the other thread, I belive it's the ads.capablenet.com server. Every time I had a significant delay this weekend, that was what was hanging it up. Parker said he has contacted them, so hopefully a fix will be forthcoming.

Re: Forum slow to load...

Greg,

I know Parker contacted them the other day so the issue is
being addressed.

Appreciate you keeping us informed on this. I noticed the
slowdown as well.

Re: Forum slow to load...

The guys at Capable are getting frustrated with the company that has hosted their box for them as this is the second server that has failed and had to have the whole thing switched out. They are looking to moving to a different location, possibly with Google to manage their ad servers so this won't happen any more.

The odd thing is they are being served in a frame on our end so when they aren't being loaded from their server it shouldn't slow us down at all.

Re: Forum slow to load...

Parker...several pages are having hard times finishing loading this afternoon.

Most of the problems seems to waiting on www.conduit.com. But I've also seen the following names hanging in my Firefox browser: 12ytimg.com, webengager.com and our old friend page.ad2.google.syndication (or whatever that full address is).

But even this page, as I am typing this message, is waiting on www.conduit.com.

Everything appears to be zipping right along again.
